True beauty comes from within the heart. Without the grace of God, Myriad Artworks simply would not exist. It's a proven fact that I am unable to use my creative gifts in a positive way by my own accord. Although art has been my main concentration of study since High School, I wasn't able to use this gift productively, until I dedicated my life to Christ in 1995. Today, I am grateful to say God is my wellspring of inspiration and it is He who gives me wisdom to manage His gifts. I am honored to have the ability to bring your ideas to life and I strive to be an example of His love through all opportunities that He bestows upon me.
Education: Greatly encouraged by family members, I began exploring my creative gifts as a small child. My first public recognition came in high school when a pencil drawing won a state-wide competition and was displayed in The State Capital of Texas, in Austin. I went on to study Advertising Design at The University of North Texas in Denton, while juggling a professional modeling career. The all-consuming fast pace of modeling caused me to reconsider my priorities in life. And roughly 15 yrs later, I decided my artwork is a wiser emotional and spiritual investment. While I wasn't planning to open or run a business, God has continued to bestow me with creative business opportunities since 1998. My Customer Service skills were developed by instructing students of all ages in enrichment classes and in private lessons. My knowledge and capabilities grow with each project and I take college courses as needed to stay up to date on the latest computer technology.
Life Today: Though Myriad had it's Grand Opening in 1998, it came second to raising my children and all projects were obtained through "word of mouth" referrals. Being a Home School Mom for ten years taught me the discipline and perseverance needed to run a business, and allowed the time I needed to hone my computer skills and eye for detail. I began marketing my skills for the first time in March of 2008, after moving back to my hometown and have found my services to be much in demand. I am thrilled to have the freedom to commit myself daily to my passion for creativity!
Service: Being a very resourceful person and one who loves to learn, I have experience working with a diverse range of mediums. I enjoy the emotional release and control I feel in pencil, charcoal and pen. However, a large part of my clientele has enjoyed my skill with children's murals and realism in oils and acrylic paints. I have found a plethora of opportunities in my new location for Graphic Design and Web Design, so I'm riding the wave of supply and demand, and loving every minute of it! My integrity as a businesswoman can be traced back through 23 years of happy customers. Always open to any ideas that my client has regarding design or medium, I have found that all things are possible through Him who gives me strength. I walk away from each creative project amazed at the product of prayer and an open mind.
Qualities: My God given talent, strong desire for truth, and willingness to learn make me the right person for any creative service. I am dependable, trustworthy, a team player, and very organized. I know I don't have to step on others to climb the ladder I'm on.
